Salvation is the gift of God given by grace and it should not be dependent on any works.
WHAT IS SALVATION?
These questions have been asked by so many people and today you will understand the concept of salvation and that salvation needs to be received in the Person of the Son of God, Jesus Christ. Ephesians 2:8-9 New King James Version (NKJV) “For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.” Salvation is the gift of God given by grace and it is not dependent on any of our works. John 3:16 New King James Version (NKJV) “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” Salvation is the Person called Jesus Christ. When Salvation is received, everlasting life is received by the perfect love of God. Therefore, Salvation is the manifestation of the love of God in the Person of Jesus Christ.
GOD’S WILL IS FOR YOU TO RECEIVE EVERLASTING LIFE
John 10:10 New King James Version (NKJV) “The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.” It is God’s will for you to have an abundant life but the ultimate sacrifice had to be paid in God’s Son Jesus Christ. God desires fellowship with you according to original intent. In order to demonstrate His love and you can receive everlasting life, He sacrificed His only begotten Son.
YOU NEED GOD’S LOVE TO RECEIVE SALVATION
John 1:12 New King James Version (NKJV) “But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name:” Everyone needs Salvation in order to live an abundant life. But many of us don’t know that Salvation is received when we embrace love that is of God. It is when we are born of God we can know God and His Salvation, His love found in His Son, Jesus Christ. 1 John 4:7 New King James Version (NKJV) Knowing God Through Love “Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God.”
SIN HAS SEPARATED THAT LOVE AND SALVATION
Isaiah 59:2 New King James Version (NKJV) “But your iniquities have separated you from your God; And your sins have hidden His face from you, So that He will not hear.” How did sin enter humankind? Romans 5:12 New King James Version (NKJV) “Therefore, just as through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned—” Also, Romans 3:23 New King James Version (NKJV) “for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,” And, Romans 6:23 New King James Version (NKJV) “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” We all desire to do that which right but original sin has separated us from God. But God has made a way for us to experience everlasting life and the abundant life we all want. Our good works, humanism, morality and even religion will not restore our position of righteousness to receive everlasting life. It comes in the Person who has sacrificed His life so that we can embrace an abundant, eternal life.
HOW THEN DO I RECEIVE EVERLASTING LIFE?
John 1:12 New King James Version (NKJV) “But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name:” So many people cry out for a release from pain, hurt, shame, stress and all they need to do is believe and receive Jesus Christ. He is your burden-bearer. He has come to give you and show you true love and experience no fear of death and walk in light. All that is required is to acknowledge sin and confess Jesus Christ as Lord and God, repent of all sin and receive the One who knew no sin to be your sin-bearer. Romans 10:9 New King James Version (NKJV) “that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.” So right now, do you want salvation? Do you want to know you can have everlasting life? All you need to do is to accept Jesus as your Saviour and Lord and begin a new and wonderful relationship with Him. Then you will be born again of His Spirit and turn from darkness into light. 2 Corinthians 5:17 New King James Version (NKJV) “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.
Say this prayer right now.
Heavenly Father, I am a sinner and I need a Saviour. I believe You died on the Cross for me. I believe You rose for the dead for me. Right now, I ask You Jesus, forgive me of all my sins, past, present and future. Come into my heart and teach me today to live for You. I receive you in my heart and from this day I receive everlasting life and the power of grace and Your love in the name of Jesus, amen! You have now received Jesus Christ in your life! Luke 15:10 New King James Version (NKJV) ” Likewise, I say to you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.”
